The athlete hit the courts in a jaw-dropping 'fit.
Confidence is a beautiful thing. Serena Williams went back to practice last week after having surgery to remove a blood clot from her lungs last month. The tennis champ was so elated to be back in action, she tweeted this pic (above), which showed off her lean, fit bod in a seriously form-fitted, neon pink bodysuit.
“Look who I spotted on the court. Her first day back,” she wrote.
Though Serena seems to be right at home with her famous curves, the athlete has admitted to working very hard to get into what she considers to be her perfect size. She told Harper’s Bazaar, after winning the Australian Open in 2010, "I wanted to get really fit. I wanted to lose some weight.” She then embarked on a fitness journey that included pilates, yoga, strength training and running, taking her muscular body from a size 12 to a more toned size 10.
Hard work pays off.
