Fashion Report: Rihanna, Keri, Pharrell & Solange Go Black Tie

Stars come out to a gala to fight leukemia.

Yesterday’s 5th Annual DKMS Gala brought out the elegant and the beautiful. Held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, the event put a spotlight on the fight against leukemia.

Rihanna was honored for her commitment to bringing about awareness to the disease. “Anyone can be affected by leukemia,” the singer said in a statement. “It is the number one disease children in the U.S. die of and we can change that. I encourage people to become bone marrow donors with DKMS. If we have more donors, we can save more lives.”

Solange, Pharrell, and Keri Hilson were among the best dressed stars at this worthy occasion. Check out their style factor.

Rihanna who rocked the red carpet in this chic peplum gown by DSquared showed off just the right amount of cleavage has been testing the waters with her interesting updos. Her hair, a high, red bouffant, was the real star of the evening.

Keri Hilson looked gorgeous in a clean, white gown by Versace. The singer took her blonde bob up a few inches to achieve this cute, shorter cut.

Behold, Solange and her beautiful mane! Looking like a 70’s goddess, Solo showed up in this fabulous low cut, billowing dress. The singer’s curly blowout boosted her sensual vibe and was discretely accessorized with a gold cuff and strappy sandals.

Pharrell went the classic route with a crisp black Yves Saint Laurent tux. The music mogul, who never seems to age, had a ball flirting with his celebrity gal pals during the gala.
