The Dirty Money diva introduces "Neon."
Flaunting that futuristic style of hers, Dawn Richard is featured in the latest issue of Atlanta-based magazine Connect. The Dirty Money group member transformed into her alter ego, “Neon,” for the creative shoot. Given the broad shoulders, fierce stance and high, slicked back ‘do, Dawn’s “double” can best be described as a sexy superhero.
The New Orleans native was styled by Olori Swank, who draped the diva in everything from animal prints to pin stripes. “Everything is very shoulder-based," said Swank. "Because the idea is that she has the whole world on her shoulders.”
Dawn, who’s currently on tour with Dirty Money, has received rave reviews for her commanding presence on stage. Blogger Necole Bitchie touted the singer’s swag as “unexplainable” and proclaimed “she has a bright future ahead of her.”
