The economy may be taking baby steps toward improvement, but Versace is taking a big step back into children’s wear with a full collection for infants all the way up to age 12.
After shuttering a previous kid’s line “Versace Young” in 2004, the brand is bouncing back with “Young Versace,” a “high-end, glamorous and colourful collection in line with the brand’s essence, with a touch of rock ’n’ roll,” according to Gian Giacomo Ferraris, Versace CEO.
The collection will incorporate the label’s iconic symbols, such as the Greek frieze and the Medusa—with a youthful twist (least the kiddes get scared of their clothes).
Would you splurge on designer brands for clothes for your child?
