The actress loves the skin she’s in before and after.
Raven Symone has been making all kinds of headlines because of her new figure. This month, Vibe magazine featured the former Disney star in their “Sexy Issue” and she’s a certified bombshell, showing off her svelte figure in a curve hugging LBD and red heels.
But for all the hoopla over her newfound skinny-minny status, the actress maintains she feels just as good “after” as she did “before.”
“I find it funny that people now come up to me and say, ‘Wow, you are absolutely gorgeous’. I’m like, ‘I was beautiful before I lost weight'. Egotistically speaking, I thought I was amazing.’”
Apparently the producers at ABC Family agreed with that sentiment, because now she’s too skinny for her new role on debut show State of Georgia, which premieres June 23. “Ironically, my character is supposed to be the size I was before,” she said. “So I have to wear thicker body pads on the show.”
The show features Raven playing a character who moves to New York from Georgia in hopes of becoming an actress.
