Rihanna Sparkles on Glamour Magazine’s September Issue

September’s super-sized fashion magazines are right around the corner and Rihanna’s lighting up Glamour’s big issue. “I need to open up,” reads the cover line. Maybe that explains the singer's backless white top, which was paired with plum sequined pants from Dolce & Gabbana's fall 2011 line.

While nothing can take away from her larger-than-life red curls, notice Rihanna's subtle black-and-red reverse manicure. That's one trend we can all file away for fall, but for now Rih’s still feeling summery. Today she Tweeted new album artwork for her single “Cheers,” where she's popping out of a drop top in a striped tank and throw with shorts.
