The Help Inspires HSN Collection

The pieces are attractive, but are they appropriate?

The Help, which stars Viola Davis, Octavia Butler and Emma Stone, follows the events that unfold when an overzealous college grad (Stone) pens a tell-all about the lives of black maids in a small, racially charged town. Set in the '60s, the emotional and touching film has inspired a new clothing and home goods line.

You can now purchase exclusively designed pieces by CR by Cynthia Rowley and Lela Rose for HSN at HSN.com. The collection is composed of '60s-inspired skirts, dresses, jackets and shoes, along with a rather questionable offering of kitchen appliances, which we can only assume were “inspired” by the maids.

Hopefully, the line will further highlight the engaging dialogue that the film’s storyline offers.
