The newlywed spills the deets to BET.com about how she keeps her edges sleek and shiny with Ampro Pro Styl styling gel.
As we previously reported, Toya Wright (formerly Toya Carter) and her new hubby Mickey "Memphitz" Wright are the new faces of Ampro Pro Styl styling gel. BET.com caught up with the reality show star to see how she’s using her favorite products.
“I’m big on my edges,” explains Toya. “My hair is naturally curly and I’m all natural, so when my hair is pressed, I love to use Ampro Shine ‘n Jam Conditioning Gel. It has extra hold and it doesn’t make your hair flake up or anything. It’s not greasy and it’s a very light product.”
Toya’s slicking tool of choice is a familiar one. “I use the itty-bitty brush and the rat tail comb to smooth my edges.”
Her hubby is also loving their new arsenal of hair goodies. “He uses the men’s line that they have," Toya says. "He likes waves, so he’s good with whatever gives him waves and allows him to tie it up.”
