"Thelma and Louise" get a style reboot in the latest issue.
Bandit babes Tika Sumpter and Lala Anthony get all dolled up for their dangerous spread in the latest Vibe. The two beauties posed for a shoot based on the cult classic Thelma and Louise. With guns in tow, the divas rocked looks from Jean Paul Gaultier, LQS by LaQuan Smith and Louis Vuitton.
“I love the Thelma and Louise tribute. It’s one of my favorite movies,” said Sumpter in a behind-the-scenes video. The actress wore messy, long, black tresses for one of the unforgettable shots of she and Lala holding a gun to a handsome man’s back.
“I liked when I was shooting the guy with the gun in my hand.” Lala remarked of the shot. “I had the black trench on. With the gun in my hand, I just felt really strong and powerful.”
Another shot places the girls in a drop-top getaway car, flossing designer bags and sexy glares.
