Brown beauty is all the rage. With Louis Vuitton featuring Thandie Newton in their latest ads, Estee Lauder swooning over model Joan Smalls and Carol’s Daughter presenting striking images of Solange, Selita Ebanks and Cassie, there’s no doubt that Black is indeed beautiful.
In more good news for African American beauties, we’ve learned Paula Patton is the new face of the COVERGIRL Queen Collection. The P&G brand made the announcement yesterday afternoon, tweeting, “COVERGIRL Queen Collection is excited to announce our newest Celebrity Brand Ambassador, Actress Paula Patton!”
The 35-year-old mommy and wife of singer Robin Thicke is the perfect addition to the “Queen” family, and she’ll help promote three new products set for a January release: Vivid Impact Eyeliner, LashFanatic Mascara and Natural Hue Matte Pressed Powder.
Those ads are going to be stunning.
