The song "Run to Remember" will raise funds for the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.

Duck Down Music artists have released a song that will benefit the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. The track titled “Run to Remember” is in support of Dru Ha, the co-owner of Duck Down, whose father passed away this year after a 10-year battle with the disease. Double-O of Kidz in the Hall produced the song, which features artists Buckshot, Smif N Wessun and Promise.
Dru Ha is also planning to run in the ING New York City Marathon on November 6 in memory of his father and a limited-edition shirt has been created and being sold to mark the event with proceeds going towards Alzheimer’s awareness as well.
“I’m running it for the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation, a team called Run to Remember, based out of New York City. My father this past January passed away from Alzheimer's and I just felt like I needed to do something really challenging that's personal to me and that would pay tribute to the man that he was,” Dru Ha says.
To date, he has raised $10,000 for the cause. “Run to Remember” is available exclusively through iTunes for 99 cents.
