La La Anthony recently hosted a holiday spa night at TenoverTen Salon in NYC where guests were treated to manicures, pedicures, foot massages, cocktails by X-Rated Fusion Liqueur, and a selection of beauty products. When they weren't sipping on pink drinks, attendees looked through Anthony's personal clothing rack, Christian Louboutin shoes, and other fashion items spread around the room.
Throughout the night, Anthony shared her beauty tips for the holidays like going with velvet or lace for a subtle look, using a belt to make your waist seem smaller, and opting for longer-lasting gel manicures instead of regular manis.
She later spoke with Madame Noire about balancing her career, a four-year-old son, and being married to NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
"Just like anything else in life, I think that if you love something,  you make time for it," Anthony says. "Of course family comes first, but I love my career, so I make time for it. Also, I put 100 percent effort into anything I do, so I go to sleep most nights wishing there were more hours in the day."
For the holidays, Anthony is most looking forward to seeing her son open his gifts from Santa and spending time with her husband, but the basketball wife also understands the importance of pampering yourself and let us in on her favorite shoe designers.
"I loooove my heels, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti are my favorite designers!" she says. "Of course, I pull out my flats, sometimes, just never in front of the cameras!"
