Zumiez retail stores will be the first to carry the skateboard apparel line.
Lil Wayne made a surprise appearance at the 2012 Zumiez 100k event in Keystone, Colorado, where he treated the audience to a sneak peek at his upcoming skateboard apparel line, Trukfit. He came out on stage decked in his Trukfit clothes while "6 Foot 7 Foot" played in the background. He also explained the meaning behind his clothing line's name.
“When a person could spot a fake, they’d be like, you got on the truck fit,” he said. “So now it’s cool to have on the truck fit, ya dig!”
Trukfit, which will include a selection of T-shirts, hats and skate decks, is set to debut January 23-24 during the Agenda trade show in New York City and will be available at Zumiez retailers nationwide.
