Solange Knowles

Now that Solange has signed with Next Models, we’ll likely see the artist showing off her slim silhouette practically everywhere. She shows off a voluminous natural style in Oyster magazine. Stealing Solo’s ‘do takes a few simple steps and some great product.

The easiest way any curly girl can achieve more height and length is to do a dry two-strand twist. After shampooing and conditioning, use Carol’s Daughter’s Chocolat Smoothing Blow Dry Cream to protect tresses and achieve a tangle-free blowout. Do permanent marker-sized twists using just a little Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Make sure to include a middle or side part while styling.

Once dry, unravel and use a blow-dryer with a flat nozzle attachment to gently stretch twists with medium heat. Quickly run the dryer along the twists. Use a wide toothpick to lift at your roots, hide parts and create big, beautiful hair. Voila!
