Hot off the heels of inking a new modeling contract for Next Model Management, Solange jetted overseas to kick off Milan Fashion Week. One of our favorite Fashionistas to Watch made her catwalk debut during the Alberta Ferretti “Limited Edition” demi-couture Autumn/Winter 2012 show in a sweeping silver gown with a beaded neckline, brick red lips and curly do (she always says Diana Ross is a style muse!).
We've seen her in print campaigns, but the singer and DJ opened up about taking her modeling career to the "Next" level and told Vogue Italia: "I don't by any means consider myself the most qualified for model material. I think that people tend to respond to what is real. Black women carry that flame with so much ease and confidence. It is being captured and celebrated on all fronts in fashion now."

When she wasn’t ripping the runway, Solo made her rounds at two Dolce & Gabbana events in sweet and sultry lace looks from the brand (we especially love what the green frock did for her!).
