It's a dream come true for many brides-to-be.
Designer and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is taking his knack for designing whimsical cocktail dresses from the runway to the aisle with a new, exclusive collection of wedding gowns.
"Excited to announce we are doing an exclusive bridal collection for Nordstrom. Here's the very first one, more to come!" the designer Tweeted along with the first look from the collection. The Christian Siriano Strapless Satin Tiered Wedding Dress, which rings up for $2,375, is a tiered number that features a pleated bodice and organza rosette detail.
Since “fierce” was Siriano’s unofficial middle name, we would’ve guessed he’d go for a more fashion-forward, trendy design that would make a woman feel like she was on one of the hottest catwalks in Milan. Hopefully he’s got some more tricks up his sleeve. He'll need plenty of options to present to his old pal Heidi Klum should she ever find herself headed to the alter a third time around.
Rihanna, Gabrielle Union and Nicki Minaj are other stars that have been spied in over-the-top designs from Christian Siriano’s collection. Which fashionista is going to be the first to walk down the aisle in one of his Big Day gowns?
