The rapper talks style and appears in a commercial alongside Adrian Brody and Gael García Bernal.
It’s been a few years since we’ve seen Andre 3000 on our screens, but he’s sharpening up with a new commercial for Gillette Fusion electric razors.
The Outkast member can be seen in the commercial getting dressed, doing a quick shave and flashing his charming Southern smile before heading out the house to meet up with actors Adrian Brody and Gael García Bernal. Each of the entertainers is a part of Gillette’s “Master of Style” campaign that says, “when you’re a master of style, every bit of facial hair matters.”
"Style is taking what you have, kind of what you’re given, and playing with it,” he says in a video interview for the campaign where he wears a suit, straw hat, riding boots and round red shades. “That’s what style is: just kinda finding what’s in you and putting it out into something you have that nobody else has. You just have to love it and nurture it and say, ‘This is me and I’m just gonna blast it out to the world!’”
Andre admits that he hasn’t been to the barber in about three years (his hair is braided in cornrows), though he says he does keep his facial hair neat and trimmed himself at home.
