Since its creation 12 years ago, Oprah Winfrey has only shared the cover of O Magazine with a select few (Michelle Obama, Ellen) and now her partner Stedman Graham has been added to the exclusive list. The cover of the April issue, which is focused on food and how to "make your life more delicious," features a smiling Oprah handing a heart-shaped "Love Sandwich" to a mystery person. Readers then flip open the cover to see Stedman reaching over for the plate.
The sandwich symbolizes a special tradition she and her long-term boyfriend share on Saturday afternoons and one that only a couple of others in her life have tasted.
“It became the Love Sandwich because I first started making it just for Stedman,” she said. “I’ve only made it for a couple of other people, so if you’ve had me make the Love Sandwich for you, you have to be somebody I really care about.”
But some are criticizing the move and asking why Stedman was hidden from the cover, suspecting that he and Oprah are not really a couple. What do you think?
