Nick Cannon Documents Recovery from Kidney Failure

The radio personality debuted a video series called NCredible Health Hustle.

After Nick Cannon was hospitalized for mild kidney failure back in January, he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that's similar to lupus. He's since had to step away from his New York radio show to focus on his health, but that hasn't stopped the actor/radio personality from connecting with his audience. Through a new online video series titled NCredible Health Hustle, Cannon is chronicling his path to recovery and how he's managing the diagnosis.
Cannon noted that the goal of the documentary is to show that "it is possible to put the reins on [kidney disease and lupus] a bit and gain control of your health and wellness."
Video footage includes his wife, Mariah Carey, holding one of their twins as Cannon explains how he went from being a happy and healthy father to receiving the diagnosis at the hospital after his kidney failure. The documentary also shows him being treated, hooked up to an IV and discussing the other issues that can come with kidney disease.
The series will show how Cannon has had to change his diet, step away from his radio show and meet with health experts along with hosting America's Got Talent and dedicating time to his family.
