A side career in shoe design might be in Dwyane Wade's future. The NBA player recently designed a couple of pairs of high-end loafers for luxury shoe brand Del Toro. After Del Toro designer Matthew Chevallard made a few pairs for him, Wade was inspired to create some of his own.

These might be his first designs, but Wade is no stranger to the fashion world. The Miami Heat star has graced the November 2011 cover of GQ, looking dapper alongside girlfriend Gabrielle Union on the cover of Essence's February issue and most recently in Vogue's Olympics photo spread. And let's not forget his fly style when he's off the court.

"I think he has always loved looking proper. His dad has always stressed looking the part where ever he went," Wade's stylist, Calyan Barnett, told Local 10.

Unfortunately, Wade's patent cow skin wingtips and suede berry loafers are custom pairs and not available for mass market, but if he were to release a collection someday, would you rock his designs? Sound off in the comments!
