Now along with a trip to Willis Tower and the infamous mirrored bean sculpture, visitors to Chicago can add one more thing to their itinerary: the site where President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama shared their first kiss. A plaque marking where this momentous occasion occurred has been placed outside what used to be a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop (now a Subway restaurant) back in 1989.

Owners of the New Hyde Park shopping center decided to place the 3,000 pound granite marker on a bed of flowers with a plaque containing a photo of the First Couple along with the President's thoughts about his first date with Michelle.

"On our first date, I treated her to the finest ice cream Baskin-Robbins had to offer, our dinner table doubling as the curb. I kissed her, and it tasted like chocolate," he'd said during an interview for O, The Oprah Magazine's February 2007 issue.
