Models.com bestowed the honor upon the Puerto Rican beauty.
Joan Smalls has just claimed the top spot for Models.com's list of the top 50 models in the industry. The Puerto Rican supermodel has graced the covers of countless fashion magazines and modeled for Estée Lauder, Lacoste, Givenchy, Gucci, Chanel, Victoria's Secret and H&M among many others, so it's no wonder designers keep seeking her out.
"I feel extremely honored and blessed because it just cements that all my hard work meant something and paid off," she said.
Jourdan Dunn, who once appeared on one of four covers for Vogue Italia's iconic All Black Issue in July 2008, also appeared on the list at number 28.
