Naomi Campbell to Launch New Reality TV Fashion Competition

The Face will feature 24 aspiring models vying to be the face of Ulta's campaign.

Tyra Banks and her troupe of top models better watch their backs because soon there will be a rival group in town. Supermodel Naomi Campbell is launching her own reality TV show, The Face, on the Oxygen Network. The premise, much like Banks' America's Next Top Model, will have 24 aspiring models competing to be the face of Ulta's fall and holiday 2013 campaign.
Fashion photographer Nigel Barker, who was on ANTM until he got the boot in April 2012, will host the show. Models Karolina KurkováCoco Rocha, and Campbell will serve as the contestants coaches, and top designers like Marc Jacobs and Zac Posen may pop in as well.
Contestants will be recruited by Kurková, Rocha, and Campbell who will then lead the three teams of hopefuls through real-life assignments including photo shoots, runway shows and commercials. The winner will be the new spokesperson and ambassador for Ulta Beauty's fall and holiday 2013 national ad campaigns, have personal appearances in stores around the U.S., provide blog beauty tips and behind-the-scenes photos on Ulta.com, represent the brand at Fall Fashion Week 2013, and other initiatives.
Are you excited for The Face or are you sticking with ANTM all the way? Sound off!
