There's no doubt that Chrissy Teigen is going to be the sexiest newlywed on the beach when she and fiancé John Legend head back to the Maldives for their honeymoon, the same place where Legend asked her to marry him in December 2011. The couple is set to tie the knot this fall and Teigen was so enraptured by the romance of it all that she's decided to create a swimwear line for other brides who want to continue feeling special after the wedding is over.
"I want to wear a bathing suit for my husband that makes me feel sexy. I know other women feel the same way, so I was inspired to design a line," Teigen told People magazine at the launch of her collection during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami Beach.
Chrissy Teigen for Beach Bunny Bride, which will be available in September through the Beach Bunny brand, will feature Swarovski crystals and Chantilly lace for a romantic beachside look that will keep all eyes on you. And if anyone should question the occasion for such a sexy ensemble, the word "bride" is written across the butt on some of the pieces.
"While the swimwear had to be eye-popping as well as functional for honeymoon travel, it also needed to stand apart from other styles on the beach," she said. "So we added a little humor!"
