The actress also shares her food pleasures and her favorite style splurge.
In The Oprah Magazine, Zoë Kravitz shared a few ways in which she lives her best life for the publication with memories such as her best birthday, best adrenaline rush and best lesson from her dad, Lenny Kravitz.
"March to your own beat," she said about her father's words of wisdom. "Yes, it's a cliché, but this industry can be judgmental, and it's easy to feel like you want to change according to what's cool at that moment. My dad [Lenny Kravitz] has stayed true to himself, and that's led me to do the same."
Indeed, the actress-singer-model has forged her own path with her Swarovski Crystallized capsule collection, landing magazine covers and landing film roles like Will Smith's daughter in his latest pic After Earth.
Kravitz also shared her best splurge, which was "an 1800s silk robe from a London flea market. It's too tattered to wear, but I have a thing for faded colors and beautiful fabrics."
But it's not all a life of luxury for the daughter of a musical icon and actress Lisa Bonet. Some of her bests are things the rest of us can relate to.
"I would fly to Los Angeles just for a cheeseburger with pickles and extra tomatoes from In-N-Out," she said about her favorite comfort food. "As a kid, I wasn't allowed to eat fast food — my mom [Lisa Bonet] was too health conscious — so when my friends got their driver's licenses, I started sneaking it."
Well maybe except for the part about flying to another state for a burger.
