The singer says her "unkempt and wild" hair reflects her tomboy style.
Kilo Kish has hair to die for and apparently Vogue.com feels the same way. The site recently asked the singer to share her tips on caring for natural hair, which she embraced once she moved to New York when she was 18 years old.
"It was kind of a rebirth of my free natural self and so I was like, 'I'm just going to wear my hair how it naturally is and that's the way I like it,'" she tells Vogue.com. "I was lucky because I worked at a salon my first job in New York and so I was constantly getting my hair done by the different stylists and being the hair test for people who wanted to become stylists. I'm kind of a tomboy so it kind of goes with my style, a little bit unkempt and wild."
Kish then lists a few of her favorite products that keep her tresses healthy like Aubrey White Camellia Ultra-Smoothing Conditioner and Goldies Argan Hair Oil.
"To do my hair in this style, it's basically my natural hair and all that I do is try to keep it moisturized and keep the curls a little bit more defined. And so I take a shower in the morning and I use Aubrey Organics White Camellia Conditioner in it and I just run it through and get all the tangles out. Then I let it air dry usually. When it's wet, I'll add an Argan oil or something so it soaks up the moisture."
