Yeezy says the online shoe retailer sells "s--t product to everybody."
We're starting to think that Kanye West gets bored unless he's hating on somebody. This time he's set his annoyance on Zappos, the popular online shoe retailer. This week, a podcast between West and Bret Easton Ellis was released that explained why he had beef with Zappos.
"I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he's trying to tell me what I need to focus on," West said. "Meanwhile, he sells all this s--t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s--t product."
Well, apparently Zappos doesn't just do an awesome job with customer service (hello, free shipping and returns!), but they do pretty well replying to outspoken rappers, too. The brand posted their tongue-in-cheek reply on their Facebook page Wednesday, agreeing with West.
"Kanye West says Zappos sells sh-t product," the company wrote on their post with a link to an E! Online article. "It's true."
They then attached a photo of a toilet and plunger as well as a link to buy the Zappos.com Gear Sh-t Product, which retails for $100,000.
"Interested in buying sh-t product? You've come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody!" says the product's description. "This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you're #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris."
Yeah, I think we know who won this battle.
