The reality TV star is giving fans a chance to own her used luxury clothing.
Kim Kardashian is using her celebrity status to help raise money for victims of the Haiyan typhoon that tore through the Philippines in early November. The reality TV star is holding an eBay auction to sell off her used designer items to get funds for the International Medical Corps.
"This is a very special auction because a portion of the proceeds of my eBay auction are going to International Medical Corps, which is a nonprofit organization that provides critical health services on remote islands where families are struggling to access medical care and basic resources like food, clean drinking water and vital medications," Kardashian wrote on her Celebuzz blog. "The proceeds will go directly to the communities they're serving in the Philippines and will help typhoon survivors get access to medical care and ultimately save lives. My prayers and thoughts are with those affected by the typhoon."
Among the long list of items are fashion gear from Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen, Giuseppe Zanotti, Maison Martin Margiela, Kardashian Kollection and more. The highest bid so far is $6,100 going towards a yellow floral lace embroidered dress from Stella McCartney with a Chanel black quilted leather shoulder bag coming in second at $3,383. The bidding will continue through Dec. 1, 2013.
