Meagan Good's battles against her religious critics continue and she wants them to know that while they may have differing views on what's acceptable to wear, they're "all a part of the same community." The latest comments came in after Good wore a gold low-cut Ralph & Russo gown with sequin detailing and a thigh-high slit to the U.K. premiere of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. In a recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, she defended her penchant for wearing sexy red carpet dresses.
"Unfortunately a lot of the backlash has come from the Christian community and there's no me and them; there's only us. We're all a part of the same community and at the end of the day, for me, I grew up in this business as a little girl, I've been walking the red carpet since I was 13, so what I may view as appropriate or OK, someone else may feel differently and I think that's OK. We're all different."
Good gets a lot of backlash for being married to a preacher, so some feel she should dress accordingly, but she's having none of that. She also talked about whether she and husband DeVon Franklin are ready to start a family.
"My mom definitely is ready for it to happen," Good said. "We're not ready yet, a little bit longer. We want to enjoy being married."
