The singer's custom-built closet houses vintage pieces, iconic collections from Alexander McQueen and shoes galore.
Kelis has been making the rounds now that she's back on the scene to promote her sixth studio album, Food, and we love it because it means that we get to feast our eyes on her awesome style again. She's currently showing off her enviable custom-built walk-in closet, which used to be her guest house, with The Coveteur and talking about her fashion sense and designer splurges.
"My first ever designer splurge was a pair of pink thigh-high Giuseppe Zanotti boots," said the singer, who describes her look as "emotional and themed."
Kelis's closet is more like a fashion gallery that houses vintage pieces and amazing collections like John Galliano's first and Alexander McQueen's last. Her "woman cave," located in the attic, contains her love for shoes like Chanel, Miu Miu and other bejeweled items that would make our hearts explode.
"I don't ever want to part with any of my shoes. They all have a special place in my heart because they say something about who you are today," she said.
As for her must-have beauty items, Kelis said, "I can't live without: Eucerin cream, lip gloss, gum, nail polish and sparkly things."
