Kelly Rowland has been making the rounds as Caress's newest spokesperson, and during a recent sit-down with Too Fab, the singer opened up about her favorite fashion trends, where she gets her style inspiration from, and whether we'll ever see her and fellow Destiny's Child members rocking matching outfits again.
"No!" Rowland said. "No, No — we probably wouldn't do that now. As you can see when we did the Super Bowl, we came out in a fresh new way. We had the same color on, but we had different outfits, from different designers. But, there was still a common thread — the stockings and shoes — as you do see with Destiny's Child."
Rowland, who said her daily ensembles vary depending on her mood, also admitted to wanting to raid her stylist Marni Senofonte's closet in a heartbeat. As for what trends she's looking forward to in the new season, "Color!" she said.
"[Caress] is giving you the colors for spring in the packaging. Yellow is a color to watch out for. I'm wearing blue today, blue is one of my favorite colors. And teal, of course, with the Emerald Rush [from Caress's Fresh Body Wash collection]. I have loved teal ever since I was a kid."
As a Caress Fabulista, Rowland will be dishing tips on fashion, beauty and fragrance, and so she shared some of her beauty must-haves.
"I'm completely obsessed with just a regular facial wash. I love a nice scrub. I think it's important to exfoliate and to moisturize," Rowland said before adding that it's extra important during the cold weather months that can dry your skin out.
"For my full body, I love a scent. I need a fragrance. I feel like your fragrance sets a foundation of all the scents you'll probably be layering on later."
