Maybe it’s his soulful brown eyes, or maybe his megawatt smile. There are plenty of reasons to love Jay Ellis, who stars as NFL receiver Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbrook on The Game. No matter your reason, one thing is for sure: the man knows how to put himself together.
As the cover star of Sheen's exclusive Men’s Issue (on newsstands April 29), the hunky actor opens up about why image is power, especially for African-American men in Hollywood.
“I don’t choose to wear my pants off my butt. When I wear a suit, it’s a feeling of pride, and people respect you in a different way. I don’t knock sweats, T-shirts, hoodies and hats, but there’s something about caring about how you look,” he says.
While we’re not mad that we get to see his chiseled abs on screen, Ellis says the true way to a woman’s heart is through treating her right. “I believe women are flowers, very delicate. Not that they can’t handle their own, run businesses, raise families and change the world, it’s not about that. It’s about treating someone special. My dad did that with my mom, and they wouldn’t have it any other way.”
We hope Bryce takes this advice with Keira!
