Since losing her son Kile in a tragic boating accident in 2012, Tameka Raymond has been grieving and keeping his memory alive through the Kile's World Foundation and various events to fund the organization. Now the stylist is focusing on the next phases in her life, taking her passion for making others feel and look good to the masses with a new fashion and lifestyle site, StyleWhim.com. The site will cover tips and articles on travel, food, home decor, beauty, health and fashion.
"It has been an emotional last few years for my family and me," Raymond said. "I have had to work hard to find joy again after losing my precious son, Kile, in a terrible boating accident. After a long painful grieving process, I realized that it's important for me to start to live again. And to live again I've had to develop new grace and a whole lot of humor. I have spent my entire career learning how to make others look good and feel good. I am always humbled when people ask me my opinion on style because I feel so blessed to be doing the work that I love and I want to share what I know."
Raymond will be bringing in writers and journalists to share their expert takes on the topics above along with reviews and their must-have items with affordable alternatives that won't break the bank. To check out the new site, visit StyleWhim.com.
