ANTM Winner Angelea Preston Sues Producers

Model's crown revoked after bosses found out she was an escort.

America's Next Top Model winner Angelea Preston is suing the show that launched her career, claiming producers unfairly revoked her title because she once worked as an escort, TMZ reports.
According to Preston, show bosses attempted to take away her win and the associated prizes after the 2011 ANTM All-Star season. The model claims she told producers about her past in confidence prior to filming, but that the news quickly spread to the rest of the cast and crew.
Preston's lawsuit reads that producers allowed her to film despite knowing her history, but that a casting director called her after she won the top prize and interrogated her about her year as an escort. The model also claims she was a legal escort and not a prostitute. Still, producers insisted she had violated her contract and revoked her title and prizes.
Preston is now suing ANTM producers and the CW Network for breach of contract and seeks $3 million in damages. She claims losing her title cost her opportunities to appear in Vogue and a $100,000 CoverGirl contract.
