Beyoncé Teams Up With Topshop to Launch Active-Wear Line

The singer's collection will feature "fashion-inspired fitness" gear.

Beyoncé has teamed up with British retailer Topshop to bring a collection of active wear to the masses. The project, for which the singer has signed on to a 50-50 partnership, will offer "clothing, footwear and accessories across dance, fitness and sports categories." 

"I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking," Beyoncé said in a statement today. "Working with its development team to create and produce a technical and fashion-led collection is exciting and I'm looking forward to participating in all aspects of this partnership."

Expect gear made with "fashion-inspired fitness" in mind and clothing that'll look good while you sweat it out. Philip Green, owner of Arcadia Group, which runs Topshop, said that the line will launch within a year and that Topshop will hire a separate design team to create and manage Beyoncé's athletic street-wear line.
