Now that Diddy and Cassie have gone public with their relationship, they're not holding anything back. The couple is allegedly too hot for Macy's: Page Six reports that the department store banned the ad for his new fragrance 3AM.
The ad, recently shot in L.A., featured the music mogul, 45, and Cassie, 28, in a series of scenes that include "nudity, simulated sex and at least one nipple ring," according to the site, which adds that cops even came in to break up the shoot.
“The full-length version includes such provocative images that retailers were concerned about young customers seeing [them],” said an insider. “The required edits almost delayed the [fragrance] launch,” the source continued. “In an attempt to bypass the censors, Combs tried to get the commercial [out on cable channels], but it was still deemed too racy” by the networks.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Diddy commented on the controversy (which some are calling just a plain old "brilliant" PR move): “I don’t think there’s such a thing as ‘too sexy.’”
