There were so many jaw-dropping looks at this year’s Met Gala held in New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, but none stole the show as much as Rihanna’s stunning yellow cape and gown. The singer did right by this year’s theme, China: Through the Looking Glass, by selecting a piece by Chinese designer Guo Pei.
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour serves as the chair of the event and for the second consecutive year, the magazine has selected RiRi as the cover girl for its annual Met Gala issue.
“WOW!!! I am very honored to have this image selected for the cover of @voguemagazine!! #metgala2015 #art #fashion #Vogue,” Rihanna wrote on Instagram along with a shot of the cover.
Last year she graced the special edition alongside Beyoncé putting aside rumors that the two were feuding. Maybe next year she’ll go for three in a row? We definitely think our girl has it in her.
