Zendaya Has No Time for Internet Trolls
The Internet is full of trolls, body-shamers and haters, and Zendaya is not here for any of them. The actress and fashionista may not have time to school every single hateful person on social media, but she spotted one comment on Twitter the other night that couldn't go ignored.
The former Disney star called out a misogynistic Twitter account called Manstagram — which has racked up over 200K followers by shaming women on social media — for posting a picture of beauty blogger Shannon with and without makeup, adding the caption, “This is why our first date is running a mile around the track to see if you sweat the makeup off.”
Zendaya replied to the tweet with a photo of herself peering over a pair of glasses and captioned it, “That awkward moment when this tweet is irrelevant cause she’s slaying both ways #wannaborrowmyglasses.”
Shannon saw the tweet and thanked Zendaya for the backup, and the rest of us just fell a little more in love with with her. Stay on that mission to put haters in their place, Z!
