As we gear up for another NBA season, expect the major sneaker brands to start rolling out the player-endorsed basketball-themed kicks over the next couple of months. First down the line are Derrick Rose's D-Rose 6 by adidas.
Rose previewed the kicks on Friday, and though details are scarce, we can see that they feature the Chicago Bulls' signature black-and-red color scheme. SlamOnline.com also reports that they are equipped with "full-length visible Boost cushioning, a dual-strapped heel and a diamond patterned upper with SprintSkin technology."
More details will surely be released around the time the shoes are set to drop, in the fall. But based on the popularity of the previous D-Rose iterations, this one is likely to float to the top of a lot of Christmas lists.
As for his own season, Rose is so focused that he won't even appear at next week's minicamp for the 2016 Olympics USA Basketball team. "Rose has been working out in Los Angeles and apparently did not want to depart from his regimen," reports Bulls.com.
But there's still a chance we'll see him there, "If Rose were again to have an MVP-like" year.
