Zendaya Flips Hair as Mane Addict Muse
Dreadlocs defender/Barbie doll model, Zendaya is the latest Mane Muse for popular web portal, Mane Addicts, joining the likes of featured style stars Kelly Rowland and Vamprire Diaries' Kat Graham.
“I’ve taken fashion risks since I was really young,” she told the site. “I’ve always been into dressing different and doing different things.”
Though only 19, Zendaya's red carpet style –– from head to shoe –– has inspired all ages who have the audacity to transform. She nods to her stylist and creative director Law Roach , as well as style icons like Janet Jackson, for her approach. “When I do my hair, it’s usually a collaboration with me and Law,” she said. “He comes up with the idea. It all comes from his brain, [but] sometimes he comes up with an idea and then we all just talk about it, and it turns into something else.”
She continued, “I love people who take risks and do their own thing, [like] Erykah Badu because she is effortlessly amazing, or Janet [Jackson] for sure]. I think we all want to channel our inner Janet.”
