What happens when you team hip hop’s most complicated impresario with fashion’s reigning #queen? Well, magic, that’s what. British supermodel Naomi Campbell was undoubtedly one of the high points of Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 presentation during New York Fashion Week, and she’s getting candid about what it was like modeling on his stage.
“It was a great experience, and I had a lot of fun” Campbell told People Style. “I’ve never done a fashion show where I’m sitting there in a concert hall!”
Wearing a fur coat, Campbell gave some of her signature poses and smoldering gazes at the foot of the stage for a few show-stopping moments. Was she apprehensive about taking the gig, considering West is still evolving as a designer (and continues to raise eyebrows about his aesthetic)?

“When they asked me I said, ‘OK, I’ve been to Madison Square Gardens to see lots of concerts, but I’ve never actually worked at Madison Square Garden, and that’s a different thing!” she continued. “‘I said, ‘Yes, I want to do it, I want to be part of this experience!'”
Welp, there you have it: if nothing else, West certainly has a fan in her.
