Mystery Solved! Here's the Story Behind Russell Westbrook's Bold New Look

Thunder All-Star channeled Kanye West with this outfit.

Nobody can turn mistakes into magic quite like Russell Westbrook. Just Google his name today and you can read all about the way he turned a missed free throw into a layup on the court last night. Well, the NBA all-star is pulling those same kinds of tricks off the court, parlaying the attention he's getting for his personal style — which is sometimes not entirely positive — into a bold new clothing line with True Religion.
Like Westbrook, everything about the line says, "I look fly, deal with it." Indeed, Russ has never cared too much about fitting in. Unless, of course, we're talking about his jeans.

The NBA baller colllaborated on a 15-piece line comprised of "denim, knits, wovens, active, and outerwear," according to the brand. The True Religion x Russell Westbrook collection is a brilliant blend of athletic comfort and cutting edge style that's not for those who prefer to play it safe, like our man Kevin Durant:

“Denim is a way of life. When I’m not on the court, I’m in denim. I center my wardrobe around denim and a great pair of jeans is the first step in getting dressed," Westbrook said in a release announcing the True Religion x Russell Westbrook collab. For those wondering, in the above photo he's wearing "Rocco" jeans in Worn Nights, "Elongated Sweater with Zipper" in Used Black, and "Elongated Slub Tee" in Used Black.
