Cause & Effect - Putting a demi-permanent color in my hair along with a relaxer, really started making my hair break off. A lot was coming out but you couldn’t tell because my hair is really thick. Salon Recovery - I’m always very careful with my hair now. I go to Phyto Universe salon in NYC. They don’t color and they don’t cut hair, but they do certain treatments and they style. The woman that styles my hair for the show, along with my stylist from Phyto, both ensure that I’m always using the right products.

Face Forward - I love Bobbi Brown pressed powder in golden orange, because for women like me, especially when you’re on camera, it just makes your skin pop. That’s what I initially bought it for.

Natural Beauty - When I go out every day, I’m just spot-checking. I’ll put on mascara, lipstick, liner and I’ll shape up my brows. I don’t put on blush or anything else. My best suggestion is to try and find something that looks very natural.
