Rick Ross - William Roberts took his rap name from reputed Los Angeles drug trafficker Freeway Ricky Ross. Ross was sentenced to life in prison back in 1996, but his time was reduced and he was released last September. Ross is now suing the rapper for stealing his name. Ross also borrowed from John Gotti for his latest album, "Teflon Don." Gotti earned the nickname by winning numerous court battles in the '80s and '90s.
