Getting Started - Her signature look was a straight inverted bob. It’s really long in the front. Lately, we’ve been curling it in really big loose wave curls away from her face.

Hold On - I’ve been using Kenra Flexi-hold Hairspray, which is the #1 hairspray right now. I also use Kenra Shine Spray. I spray both of them on her hair before I curl it. It keeps it soft and flexible because she does a lot during the show like wear a hat, flip her hair and run her fingers through it.

Stay Put - We use a lot of pins to keep the curls in place. We also don’t do as many curls all over. We do a lot on the top, then separate and spray them.

Refresh Your Tress - To refresh her hair, we use the Ojon “Rub Out” Dry Cleanser once a week. It removes product build-up from the hair. You use a little then blow-dry it through. It’s great when you don’t have time to shampoo. But, we do shampoo every week and a half.

Buy Black - I’ve been using Black Opal Beautiful Bronze Total Coverage Concealing Foundation and I love it. Makeup artist Sam Fine introduced me to it. I use a mixture of colors for her because as African-American women, we don’t have one central color. I also use it to contour.

Focal Point - Jazmine has big, sleepy eyes so I use long, thick lashes to emphasize them. We use MAC Pigment in "Old Gold" and we crease it with a black MAC Pigment called "Dark Soul." Normally, people tell you to use a dark brown, but with the black, it just makes the gold pop even more. The pigmentation is more defined with the loose powders.

Prime Time - To make them stay on, you have to use a primer. I actually use Revlon Beyond Natural Cream to Powder Eye Shadow as my primer.

The Blues - I’ve also been using a really nice dark blue on her eyes. It’s also a MAC Pigment called "Bell Bottom Blue." It’s a beautiful eye shadow, and when I put it on her, I do a nude, pink lip. We use MAC Lipglass in "Oh Baby."

Lip Lock - When I do the gold look on her eyes, I use a generic red, soft lip pencil to do her lips. Lip pencils and lipsticks stay on better than lip gloss.
