Set the Mood - Finding the right music is essential. “You could go with Jodeci’s ‘Freakin’ You’ if you’re feeling a little aggressive,” Tank says. “If you’re in a softer frame of mind, with the rose petals spread all over the floor, you might want to go with Babyface’s ‘Sunshine’ or ‘Whip Appeal.’ You could do a lot.”

Sweet Serenade - Tank says he’d sing two songs off his current album, Now or Never, to serenade that special someone: “I would start off with ‘Amazing,’ and then we’d finish it off with ‘You Mean That Much to Me.’”

Top Love Song - “I’m old-school, so I’m going to go with Marvin Gaye’s Distant Lover. It’s something about that old-school sentiment, because he didn’t sound like he was playing a whole lot of games—he sounded like he really missed somebody,” Tank says.

Get Dramatic - “Purchase an outfit for a role-play type situation,” Tank suggests. “You might want to do a little jungle love with Tarzan and Jane. Or, it might be an emergency, so you might be a fireman coming to save the lady on the top floor. It could be a medical emergency and you have to resuscitate her.”

Don't Be Afriad to Touch - “Take matters into your own hands and be the masseuse for the night,” says Tank. “Tell her, ‘Tonight, I’m catering to you. We’re gonna have dinner and go into this room. A masseuse will be here any minute.’ Go change into your masseuse outfit and bring your own oils. I promise you, the massage will take you into the rest of the night.”

Dress to Impress - According to Tank, presentation is the most important thing when seducing a woman. “Look good,” he insists. “How you walk through the door says it all.”

Plan Well - “Women love when men think things through—when everything is set up and there aren’t a lot of questions and you can just walk in the moment,” Tank says. “Make sure that everything you plan is 100 percent foolproof. Be thorough. No cracks in the armor. The concierge at the desk knows you’re coming. Cake on standby. Flowers in water. Everything.”

Slow Down - “Don’t force the issue. It’s not about rushing to the bed as fast as you can to have sex. It’s about taking the whole day to stimulate your mind and helping your mind get the body ready,” Tank says.

Moment for Life - “I’m a pleaser by nature. That’s how I get my fix,” Tanks tells us. “My best Valentine’s Day was when I took a young lady to a city she’d never been in and she got to see things she’d never seen before. We had an Italian-style boat ride with romantic music, and the room was set up with flowers and candy. We went to see some amazing shows and the food was great. It was something she’d never experienced. The look on her face was a blessing.”
