Janelle Monae at amfAR’s Fashion Week Kick-Off Gala
Monae started the festivities with a powerhouse performance at amfAR’s annual gala (February 8) that raises funds for AIDS research. Although she stayed true to her “uniform,” the singer chose a feminine variation for the black-tie affair and wore a plunging black jumper with a black and white tuxedo jacket and her signature pompadour hairstyle. Love it!
