For the first time ever, a Super Bowl (Super Bowl XLVII, specifically) featured performances with all African-American headliners: Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and of course, Beyoncé. Let’s hear it for the girls! Each performed beautifully and looked stunning while doing it.
Jennifer Hudson, who sang an emotional tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, showed off her curvy figure in a long-sleeved leather Monika Chiang top, white L’wren Scott pencil skirt and YLS shoes. She was joined by the chorus from the Newton, Connecticut, School as they opened up with a performance of “America the Beautiful.”
