What Are Some Other New Restrictions?

Other restrictions include shortened early voting periods, extended residency requirements in order to register to vote and requiring voter registration groups to submit voter registration forms within a certain time period or face fines. In Florida, the early voting period has been cut almost in half, ex-felons who completed their sentences can no longer vote and it is now much more difficult for groups like the League of Women Voters to register new voters.
