Stepping Up for Military Families
In Delaware, Dr. Biden worked with an organization called Delaware Boots on the Ground, which offered support to families during times of military deployment. Biden partnered with first lady Michelle Obama to form the Joining Forces initiative, a national program that encourages citizens, businesses and other organizations to support military families in their own communities.
